Vig Co. January 12 2025 Performance Update
Good morning:
The stock market closed with losses at the index level. Rising market rates were a big driving factor in this week's action, reflecting worries about sticky inflation and that the Federal Reserve may maintain higher interest rates for an extended period.
Inflation data and the start of earnings season will set the next market trend..
Vig Co. was down 3.7% this week.

You can see semiconductors selling off throughout the week.
The SP500 was down .71%.
And interesting that “defensive” staples were a laggard.
