August was another strong month for the V2 Model. Mega Caps and Tech powered us to our best month of the year. Here is how V2 and our benchmark for the SP500 (SPY) performed:

August:

V2 up 35.17%

SPY up 6.98%

This year:

V2 up 197.83%

SPY up 9.68%

Looking at the math, most of our ratios improved on different time frames. On the positive side, we continue to have monetary stimulus and vaccine progress. On the negative side, we have high unemployment rates and virus getting worse in many places. We also have the added uncertainty of the coming election and no new fiscal stimulus, yet. We do not know the results that these issues will have on the markets. That is why we do not forecast.

In the end, the S&P 500 had its best August since 1984, while also gaining for the fifth consecutive month. The V2 Model has taken advantage of that trend.
