War And Peace! Guns vs. Pot! The True Value Of Open Ended War!

Trump gave a speech about his plan for the war in Afghanistan last night.  He said there will never be a timetable for withdrawal.

Perfect.

Open ended war!

So that got me thinking about Tolstoy's novel, War And Peace.  I have not read it. It's too long. Renee read it though.

So I dialed up a ratio chart for a defense related ETF (ITA) and a pot related stock (WEED) as my proxies for "War" and "Peace."  

It is easy to see who the market thinks is winning since Trump was elected.  ITA is beating WEED by 86%.

Eighty Six Percent!

That is the true value of open ended war.
